I’ve got a couple of things to let you know about in this news update.  First, we have posted our holiday cutoff mailing dates.  Your order has to be placed on or before the posted date for the shipping method that you choose.  A chart of the dates can be found on the main page of the hot sauce shop here.  I’ve chosen a reference city in each province to provide dates for.  If you need a date for another location not posted there, please email us and include the postal code and we’ll get to the inquiries as fast as possible in this busy season.

Secondly, I want to announce a new product line that’s just joined the From Mild to Wild lineup.  We are proud to announce the newest addition to the Canadian content of the store: Amiel’s Island Fire.  Brewed and bottled in Cardigan, PEI, Amiel will become a household name for those of you who like it HOT!  We’ve even got a few bottles of his special edition Red Dirt Revenge, which is a 1 million scoville pepper extract that’s very attractively package.  Check out all of the products of his that we’ve added so far right here.  We look forward to expanded coverage of the product line in the new year.

Lastly, I want to mention to those of who are holiday deal seekers that we’ve got an offering through the Holiday Shoppe that’s been together by Wagjag.com.  We’re offering a discount coupon where you can get $40 worth of purchasing power for only $20.  This is applicable towards all products in the online store except the Hot Sauce of the Month Club.  You can check out all the details of the deal here.

This time around we’re feature new products and a new giveaway!

First of all, the new products. I’ve just finished a large scale update of some products that needed to be added to the online store. I’ve cleaned up the ‘New Products’ category to get the ‘older’ new products out and I’ve got lots of ‘new’ new products added in. A few highlights of what you can find us selling now are:

• Blair’s T-Shirts: for those of you that are fans of some of Blair’s awesome logos and designs, check these out.  We just got a small batch of them in, all guy’s t-shirts and mostly size large, but it’s a start.

I had written a newsletter to send out about a month ago and just realized that it never actually got sent (oops).  So I’m sending it out now.  I extended the special summer offer for all of you gourmet spicy food fans out there.  What offer is that? It was a long two weeks of having very limited shipping capabilities because of the postal strike, but we’re all caught up with the boxes that were to be shipped out.  I’m going to be posting some new products for sale shortly, and I hope to have our new promotion/coupon code deal posted by the end of the day.  Stay tuned!

Hello everyone -

It’s been a while since I sent out a newsletter. My schedule got all thrown out of whack with the birth of our first child, a healthy baby boy, near the end of 2009. I’m working on getting back into coming out with regular newsletters again to keep everyone up to date with new products and promotions and all things related to spicy!

The first thing that I want to bring up is the new promotions that we’re going to be starting up on the Facebook page for From Mild to Wild Hot Sauce Shop.  From now until the end of June, simply throw a post into the June contest thread on the Discussions section of the Facebook page and your name will be entered into a random drawing.  This month we’re giving away a *1 Gallon Jug of Bone Suckin‘ Hot BBQ Sauce.*  That’ll keep you busy on the grill this summer!  Complete details of the giveaway are located in the discussion thread on the page.  Drop me a line if you’ve got any questions.
