Stanley Cup Game 7 Challenge – Round 1

Hey all -

I’m a huge hockey fan, and I’m really excited for tonight’s game 7 matchups.  I’m so excited that I’m going to make a special offer for all of you that happen to catch this in time.  Correctly predict who’s going to win their Game 7 matches AND correctly predict the final score for the game and I’ll send you a free bottle of a special private label habanero grilling sauce (a 12 oz bottle) absolutely free!  No shipping charges or anything – it costs you nothing.  Also, for those who don’t the scores right but correctly predict the winners of both games, I’ll send you a special 25% off coupon code by email.  In order to qualify for this offer, I need your score predictions in my email inbox (info@frommildtowildcom) prior to puck drop tonight.  I’ll be monitoring my email to see who gets their predictions in on time.  The free sauce offer is just for our Canadian customers due to shipping costs.  Any customer in our regularly serviced area is eligible for the coupon code.

Just to summarize:

  • Correctly predict the winner AND the final score of both games and I’ll send you a free bottle of our private label habanero grilling sauce.
  • Correctly predict the winner of BOTH games (without having to correctly predict the scores) and get a 25% off special coupon code emailed directly to you tomorrow (coupon code good until the end of May).

If you get both the scores and the winners, we’ll send you the coupon code as well as the free sauces (I figured that would be something that I would get asked anyway, so we’ll head that one off now).

So get crackin’ and send in your picks!  Just to make it fun, here are my picks:

New York Rangers: 2, Washington: 4

Carolina: 3, New Jersey: 4

What can I say, I like the hometown boys to win the big ones.  I guess we’ll see tomorrow how I did!  Good luck!

Cheers,

Brian

Monthly Newsletter

Well, it’s been a little bit since the last newsletter, so there’s lots to report.  We’ve been working on some renovations, so that’s kept our hands full for the last little while.  I’ve got a lot of new products to tell you about, so let’s get right down to it.

We’ve just picked up a new product line from Belize that’s a great rival for Marie Sharp’s with some interesting new products.  The Hot Mama’s product line is definitely worth checking out.  Aside from their great hot sauce that we brought in, their own Fiery Hot Habanero hot sauce, we’ve also got a Sweet Pepper Sauce and a Manganero Sauce.  The Sweet Pepper Sauce is a thinner version of their Habanero Pepper Jelly, and it makes a great glaze, and addition to a dip or just for sweetening up anything from grilled meats to your pancakes or waffles.  The Manganero Sauce is a blend of Habanero Peppers and Mangos that makes for a wonderful sweet with heat taste.  Again, I’ve been using this on anything from white meat to waffles.  With a great product likes this, the sky’s the limit.

Not to forget the Habanero Pepper Jelly, which we’ve been trying to find a good one of for a long time.  That mates great with the Habanero Peanut Butter which we’ve got back in stock now for all those who were looking for it when we sold out of it in record time last time it came in.  It’s back, for now.  A great all natural product, it’s only ingredients are ground peanuts and ground habaneros.  Whip up a PB&J sandwich that will never be the same again!

Also, we’ve got an organic chili pepper sauce called Kaitaia Fire.  This product of New Zealand blends organic peppers and all natural ingredients to make a fantastic fiery sauce that is certified organic.  This isn’t one to miss if you want to try something new and natural with a great fiery kick to it.

With the improvement in the weather in the last couple of weeks, we’ve been firing up the grill at home almost daily.  Just the other day we had a couple racks of ribs that were just amazing with the Bad Byron’s Butt Rub (4.5 oz shaker or  24 oz container)- one of the best dry rubs that we’ve ever had.  To celebrate our return to the grill (I know that some of you never stop – call me a wimp if you want to) we’re offering 20% off all of our dry spice/rub collection.  Just log into the online store, add some to your cart and enter the coupon code “spiceitup” to get 20% off everything that you order from that category.

We’ve got some other new products that have come in, and I’m going to try and keep posting new things in the blog at least weekly.  Don’t forget to check it out at www.frommildtowild.com/blog to keep up with what’s new!  Also – we’re looking to bring some new salsa products into the product line up.  If there are any that you’d recommend or would like us to bring in, now would be a great time to drop us a line!

Happy Grilling!

A quick early spring update

Hi Everyone -

I haven’t been the best about keeping this up to date, but I want to let you know some of what’s gotten done in the last little while.  We’ve just finished our inventory and gotten everything that is in stock now listed in the online store.  Check out our New Products section for a bunch of new items, including a certified organic hot sauce that just happens to come all the way from New Zealand!  (and it will really rock your tastebuds)  It’s called Kaitaia Fire.  Check it out.  We also picked up a number of products from the Hot Mama’s line from Belize.  Those of you who are into the Marie Sharp’s products should definitely check these out – they are fantastic and include a Manganero sauce – that’s mango and habanero, a Sweet Pepper sauce, Habanero Jelly and of course a great hot sauce.

I’m going to go into more detail when I get the newsletter for the spring done as well.  One other thing to look at is the update to the On Sale and Specials section of the store.  This has just been loaded with a bunch of products that we just cut the prices on (I know that it was getting a little bare in there).

Just something to whet your whistle – and oh yeah – the Habanero Peanut Butter is back in stock as well! (although, at it’s current rate, not for long).

Drop me a line if there’s anything else you’re lo0king for in the meantime!

Cheers,

Brian
