August Newsletter
Greetings everyone -
I hope that the summer is finding you well. It’s been a busy summer with the shop, and some of the frequent visitors to the site may have noticed that the store was “closed” for a week and a half in early August. I was away and got married on the break, and now we’re back and ready to bring the sizzle to the kitchen and the grill.
We’re excited about the upcoming Wharf Rat Rally, the motorcycle rally in Digby, NS. It is on the long weekend at the beginning of September, taking place from August 31st until September 2nd. You can find out more information about the rally at www.wharfratrally.com, and you’ll find us there in the middle of it all at the marina as a vendor. We’ve put together a special sauce just for the event with our new Digby Biker Burnout label. Only 300 of these labels was printed, and they are all serial numbered. This is going to make for a great collectible for you hot sauce and motorcycle fans. I don’t expect that they are going to last long with an expected 40,000 people to be attending the rally, so if you want one beforehand make sure that you order it now!
We’ve also recently added the Ring of Fire sauces from Mike and Diane’s. These are simply amazing sauces that taste as fresh as the ingredients that they use. I’m a big fan of the Xtra Hot myself, where the combination of fresh ingredients and habanero is fronted by a pepper taste that is a wonderful combination.
We’ve also brought in new salsa and cheese dip from Crazy Jerry, Bad Byron’s Butt Rub - the be all and end all of rubs, Endorphin Rush, and many more! So, it’s been a busy summer. If you’re around Annapolis Royal this Saturday, stop in and see us at the Farmer’s Market in the morning. Otherwise, give us a call and drop in to see the showroom.
We’re getting geared up for Autumn where there’s still lots of great grilling weather left. Keep an eye on our blog to see what else might pop up for special events, recipes, new products and interesting information. And drop us a line today if you’d like to host your own hot sauce party.
Cheers,
Brian
