Jerk is a true Jamaican invention, but the old folks of Lynchburg thought it could use a little extra punch and decided their local Tennessee Whiskey was the answer. This is an excellent Jerk seasoning with a blend of sweet tropical spices and savory herbs coupled with a pleasing, peppery heat. Although it is primarily used on chicken, pork, fish, and seafood, it is also good for vegetables and other meats.

Ingredients: Spices (including allspice, Black Pepper, Red Pepper, Habañero Pepper & other spices), sugar, salt, thyme & Jack Daniels Black Label Whiskey.

This is an excellent dry rub marinade for pork, pork ribs, pork chops and chicken. It is also an excellent seasoning sprinkled on sweet potatoes. Rub seasoning gently into meat covering thoroughly. For best results place rub on meat several hours or overnight before cooking. At the end of the cook try adding our Historic Lynchburg Apple Cinnamon BBQ Sauce for a wonderful dinner.

Rub seasoning gently into meat covering all areas thoroughly. For best results place rub on meat several hours or overnitebefore cooking. This will allow the seasoning to seep into the meat and during cooking will seal in the natural juices and flavor. For a final finish, baste on Historic Lynchburg Tennessee Whiskey BBQ Sauce for the last 5 to 10 minutes of cooking.

Gobblin' Good Turkey Rub is an excellent dry rub seasoning for turkey, chicken, other fowl, vegetables and soups. Rub turkey with olive or vegetable oil and sprinkle seasoning liberally all over turkey inside and out. It's always good to rub a little between the turkey breast and skin along with a couple patties of butter. Then cook as you normally do.
